Professional Expertise and Bio:

Dan Jenkins is founder and manager of Grapple Hook Marketing, Inc.  He has 18 continuous
years of experience with marketing and sales of industrial, environmental and safety products
and services.  His accomplishments include marketing to, and successfully penetrating one the
largest companies in the world - Shell Oil. His efforts were rewarded with a national contract.

Dan holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of South Florida in Tampa. Additionally,  
earned his BA in Industrial Arts for California State University, Chico and earned his secondary
teaching credential from California State University, San Francisco.  Over the years he has
taught numerous marketing courses as an adjunct professor at universities which include:
University of Tampa, Embry Riddle Aeronautical University and Saint Leo University.

Crane Tech  2001-2006     

  • Initiated and successfully implemented “Manager’s Guide to Mobile Cranes and Rigging”
    seminar series.

  • Recognized by, and interfaced with United States Department of Interior, Minerals
    Management Service (MMS) to craft federal offshore crane and rigging standards.
    Selected by American Petroleum Institute (API) and MMS to serve on planning committee
    for National Offshore Crane Conference.

  • Selected and performed rigging safety presentation to 85 industry professionals for Willis
    Insurance – Construction Division, the nation’s largest construction insurance company.

  • Secured Crane Tech’s Subject Matter Experts to provide technical presentations at
    industry specific events for API – National Offshore Crane Conference, National
    Petroleum and Refinery Association, United States Department of Energy – Nuclear
    Facilities Managers, Shipbuilders Council of America and International Association of
    Drilling Contractors.

  • Successfully introduced and sold “Solvent Alternatives” to skeptical industry to replace
    products acetone, MEK, and vapor degreasers.
